My 5 Most Used Plugins

Here is a list of my favorite plugins that I think would help you as well, no matter your niche.

Without further ado…

For many of you who are already familiar with this plugin will know what a blessing it is! You can do SO SO SO many things with it, it is literally a design life saver.

What I like about it:

  • You can optimise for Desktop, Mobile and Tablet, yup, I know right!?
  • You can easily create blocks/sections on a page to order/rearrange content
  • You can visually make changes on the fly, with drag and drop features and without having to update your site to see what it looks like
  • Changing, shapes, styles, borders, shadows, hues etc. is one click away a visual CSS master if you will…
  • There are also so many pre-designed content available for FREE on Elementor, that even if you aren’t a designer by core, you know that your content will look good!

I can go on and on about all the features, but why repeat it when they have gone through all the effort of saying it themselves…

Ok, so I’ve tried so many different types of forms, and they all work well until they don’t, there are always some type of feature that you would LOVE so they force you to get the premium or pro version to use those features.

Until now, Forminator have been such a pleasure to work with!! You can do sooo many things with it that you can not with other free versions, it takes about 2 forms until you know the “in´s-and-out´s” of how to tweak it. You will NOT want to use another free form ever again.
Plus, if you know a little CSS, (not that it is needed) you will have so many more styling options available to you,

It is super easy to create and modify the look and feel, wording and even images on your form, with it’s drag and drop features.

You can: create

  • Contact forms
  • Order forms
  • Payment forms
  • Email forms
  • Feedback widgets
  • Interactive polls with real-time results
  • Quizzes
  • Registration forms with payment options including PayPal and Stripe.

If Menu

This plugin has helped me with so many websites! Ok, so let me explain what it does…so you know when you have so many pages on your WordPress site that your menu is just as cluttered as your laundry bin on a Friday morning?

Well, this plugin kinda solves that, you can decide what menu options you want to be available and to whom.

Let me give a better example; I did a recruitment website last year where there were job seekers and employers, both had to register, on the same site, but had to have different options available to them to find jobs, advertise open positions etc.

With this plugin, you can VERY easily set who can see what and when.

Ok so if your media folder looks anything like mine did….a complete mess and nightmare for anyone with just a tad of OCD. Don’t feel alone. Say good-bye to an unsorted, cluttered media section, hooray!

You can:

  • Create folders
  • Drag and drop all media into the relevantly created folders
  • Bulk Select to move or delete images you don’t use or need

Oh my word, and looking for something has gotten so much easier!

If you are not already using and LOVING Elementor, but would like to have more control over your layouts then this would come in handy!

I mostly use it to create side-by-side sections in Gutenberg but there are so many other features that you can look at, it has truly saved a lot of unnecessary grey hair trying to make something look a certain way but the editor just doesn’t allow for it… this completely solved that for me.

What it can do:

  • Create tabs
  • Boxes
  • Columns
  • Sliders and Carousels
  • Responsive Videos and much more.

That is all for today Folks! I hope that these plugins will make your life easier and solve some frustrations. Until next time….Ciao
