Business email hosting in Namibia · Remote support
Give customers an address that belongs to your business. DIC helps you plan mailboxes, connect your domain and work through the setup for your team.
Already have email elsewhere? Tell us before changing or cancelling anything.
Your domain is the part after the @ sign. Email hosting provides the mailboxes behind it; a website is not required.
You can usually keep your existing domain registration and website. We first check who manages your DNS, where email currently runs and what access is available. Email-related DNS changes should be planned without disturbing your website or other services.
Choose a business name and check domain availability before planning addresses. Domain registration and email hosting are separate services. We can help you choose the combination and confirm the costs before you proceed.
A short list now makes choosing a plan easier. Start with these details:
A forwarding address or alias is not the same as a separate mailbox. Tell us who needs to receive and send from each address so we can confirm the appropriate arrangement.
Old mail, contacts and calendars do not necessarily move in the same way. The route depends on your current provider, access, mailbox sizes and the tools you use.
Identify the current mail service, required access, mailbox data and any local archives. Keep the existing service active during assessment.
Confirm what can be moved, what needs a separate export or setup, the proposed timing and any migration charges. Migration is not automatically included with a hosting plan.
Plan DNS and device changes, then check sending and receiving. Agree when the old service can be retired; do not assume a changeover is instant or interruption-free.
The Linux email plans in our catalogue list secure IMAP, Outlook access and webmail. Webmail lets you read email in a browser; compatible email apps can connect to the hosted mailbox.
Tell us your Outlook version or other app before ordering so we can confirm the setup. Mailbox hosting does not by itself include an Outlook or Microsoft 365 software licence, or promise Exchange-style calendar and contact features.
SPF identifies approved sending services, DKIM signs outgoing mail, and DMARC sets a policy for messages that fail alignment checks. We can assess the records needed for your setup and coordinate configuration with whoever manages your DNS.
Include other senders such as your website, invoicing system or newsletter service in that review. These records help receiving systems evaluate mail; they do not guarantee inbox placement or prevent every unwanted message.
Usually not. Email can be hosted separately from your website. We review the existing DNS setup before recommending changes.
If you retain control of the domain, the same address names can generally be set up on the new service. Moving the old messages is a separate assessment.
Compare the mailbox counts, storage and current terms in the email plan catalogue. If you are unsure, send your requirements first. We will clarify the plan and any separately scoped work before you proceed.
DIC provides remote support. Use the public contact page to reach us by email or WhatsApp, describe the issue and tell us which device or app is affected. Setup or troubleshooting scope is agreed for your service; this is not an on-site support offer.
Start with your domain and mailbox count. We can work through the next steps with you before you order or change providers.
